Dry Riesling 2012

Tasting Notes
“The Chateau Ste. Michelle Dry Riesling is adry, crisp, refreshing style of
Riesling with beautiful fruit flavors, crisp acidity and an elegant finish. It
offers inviting floral and mandarin aromas with a clean finish. This is an
incredibly versatile food wine and my favorite with oysters.”

Bob Bertheau, Head Winemaker

Vintage Notes
* 2012 was a return to the “classic” vintage conditions for eastern Washington
and a much welcomed change from the cooler 2010 and 2011 vintages.
* Bud break started slightly earlier than normal but cooler temperatures
through the early summer delayed veraison slightly.
* A warming trend began in late July and dry conditions through
mid-October were ideal for fruit ripening.

Every day price $9.99

Tasting price $8.99

Kelly’s Member price $7.99

Harvest Select Sweet Riesling 2012

Tasting Notes
“The Harvest Select Sweet Riesling is made in a slightly sweeter style than our
“Columbia Valley Riesling” but still shows the classic elements of Chateau Ste.
Michelle Riesling. It offers rich flavors of ripe peaches and apricot that are
balanced by crisp acidity.”
Bob Bertheau, Head Winemaker

Vintage Notes
* The 2012 vintage was fairly typical for eastern Washington and a much
welcomed change from the cooler 2010 and 2011 vintages.

Merlot 2010

Tasting Notes

“We craft this wine to be our complex yet approachable Merlot. The wine offers aromas of black cherry, leather and spice with layers of rich dark red fruit flavors and a long, smooth, sweet finish. A touch of Syrah adds a jammy fruit character. I think of this wine as a great ‘any day red.'”

Bob Bertheau, Head Winemaker
Vintage Notes
* 2010 was one of the coolest vintages on record and a year that tested our winemaker’s patience.
* The ripening season was marked by a mild spring and cool summer, resulting in harvest starting three weeks later than normal.
* Fortunately, a warmer September and October allowed grapes to ripen to maturity.
* The cooler weather conditions resulted in grapes reaching optimum flavor

ripeness to desired sugar levels.

Every day price $15.99

Tasting price $13.99

Kelly’s Member price $12.99
